The Parker 61 Custom Insignia cartridge filler was introduced in 1969, replacing the capillary filling model. This pen is a 61 Custom Insignia version with a 12 Ct. rolled Gold cap and barrel, a high end pen. The Custom Insignia was discontinued in 1972, a relatively short production run.
